Richardjrn Weatherwax's 5th Rez Day

Its hard to believe its been 5 years since a fresh face prim avatar called Richardjrn Weatherwax loaded up SL for the first time and gave the 3D virtual reality platform a whirl. In those five years he has become one of the groups most recognized and talented scripter. Its hard not to travel around the 4 sims and not find something which he has had a hand in the creation of.

To celebrate this feet of dedication and the fact that he had left SL toddler status Sophie Johnson arranged a secret party for him in the new Phoenix Station bar in Sovereign.

The crowds gathered the music pumped and members, guests and ponies strutted their funky stuff.

Congratulation Richardjrn Weatherwax and may you be here in another 5 years.

Happy Rezzday snapper Desade!!!!!

... 7th July 2006 ...

Unsuspecting pixels were sucked out of cyber-space and were violently shoved together to form what we now know as snapper Desade. Below in an approximate timeline of the progression of snappers avatar. It's not a pretty sight.

Those pixels are now fully used to being forced into this shape, even though they hate it! snapper has done a lot of GFC over the years and he is making a massive stance at the moment to make GFC better. Lets join his effort, lets be team!

But today was a special day of course, 5 years in Secondlife is along time! A feat that is not easy, one that I probably will never reach. Are we sure that Secondlife will still be around in another 5 years?

Today we celebrated on top of the MRU (Mobile Research unit) with our resident DJ Richardjrn Weatherwax ... a brilliant choice of tracks as always.

I would like to say congratulations to snapper for reaching 5 years and I hope him every success as he delves into Secondlife retirement age. Oh course many GFC members turned up to wish snapper a Happy Rezzday!

Snappers 5th Rezz Day

Its amazing how time flies when your an avatar in a virtual world and it was a little by chance that I glanced at the calendar and noticed  something familiar with the date. Double checking my avatars birth date revealed my suspicions were correct, today was my Rezz Day. Yes, this time 5 years ago a wet behind the ears guy loaded up second life and
thought, "hey, i'll try that out".


In those 5 years in SL, I've seen good times, bad times, crazy times, seen people come, people go, people come back from going and people threatening to go, then not going, people being banned, unbanned, threatened to be banned  and thinking they were banned when they weren't.

But its always been interesting and maybe that's what keeps people here and brings people back. So here's for a another 5 years....or until someone sticks a tube in the back of my head and plugs me into the matrix.

To celebrate some of us had a quick disco in the new Mobile Research Unit over the sandbox.
