Bathtub Race Challenge

Wow, now this challenge was so much fun, even just watching. Take a small group of 6 men and 6 women, throw them in a bathtub and.....no no no, not what your thinking...lol I mean individually.
Ok, so where were we? oh yes, 6 men and 6 women (individually) competed in the Bathtub Race Challenge.And I am happy to announce the winners here and now..... For the ladies, the fastest Bathtubber was Starr Jetaime in an amazing  22 seconds. And for the men Tails Cluny in a record breaking 19 seconds. I'm sure all of GFC will join me in saying.....Congrats and well done!!

So who are those suspicious people lurking in the backgroud?? I'm happy to report, its the other participants who stayed behind to congatulate the winners, and in no particular order here are their names and times.....

Phew...so after 2 great challenges and a lot of fun, its time to start planning the next challenge. For that, I need you lovely GFC members and Officers to send me some ideas and to volunteer...please!!

I think we shall try a maze challenge next, kindly suggested by Starr Jetaime, thank you Starr for a wonderful idea. And also a special thank you to Zannadu Resident, for allowing us to use her 'Away mission site, area 51' for the Bathtub race challenge. Anyone wanting to visit the area, contact Zannadu or myself, everyone is welcome.

GFC Book of Records first challenge

Im sooooo excited, we have finished our first challenge and it was a HUGE success!!
Now ask yourself, how many people can hula hoop on the top of a regulation sized shuttlecaraft?
Did you say 5?....hmm no, guess again. You think 8? hmmm no, but your geting warmer....

 Sunday, the 3rd of October at 18:00 SLT, will forever go down in GFC history as the day we officially declared that 12 hula hooping fans could hula together on top of a APTT - Drop Shuttle (1.0)Type 57 shuttle by AvenaTech shipyards.....and hula hoop their way into the GFC Book of Recods. Thank you all to the following participants. I hope you will all agree it was a lot of fun and we managed to shift a few centimetres off our hips as well...lol  The happy hoopers are ( in no particular order).....

The next challenge is a land speed challenge, which will involve driving a vehicle on a short, fairly simple obstacle course and parking in a designated area. For this I will need 5 male and 5 female volunteers, and the fastest from each sex will be declared the winners. Im me (Yalene resident aka six of nine) for more details and to volunteer, but be quick as you know the numbers are limited. Its all for a good cause and i promise it will be loads of fun, so I look forward to hear from you all...Hugsssss

GFC Book of Records

Yep, It's me again, Six of Nine, and just when you thought it was safe to read blogs again ..here she is ...giggles.

Ok, I have some good news to share. I have been put in charge of the Library's new project, GFC Book of Records. A concept dreamt up by the Library staff and handed to me cause they thought it would be fun, fun, fun....Thank you all for your faith and confidence in me. I'm just the gal for the job!

Now of course, I really cant do it without your help out there, so if you have any ideas, suggestions or can volunteer I really want to hear from you. Shoot me an IM inworld.
I have a few ideas I want to start with and for that I do need voluunteers.
I need 5 male and 5 female drivers for a race challenge. Yes, I can see you getting all excited and wanting to volunteer..yay!!
I also need quite a few people to participate in the hula hoop challenge. For those interested in the hula hoop challenge, IM  your best days and times available and I will try and work it out for all of you. I promise it will be fun and it could be your name that is immortalized forever in the GFC Book of records. Something to tell the grandkids about in your old age hey?

Remember, this is your way of contributing to the GFC commmunity and having some fun, meeting new members at the same time. IM me, Six of Nine (Yalene Resident ) and I will be posting more blogs to ask for volunteers for more challenges coming up, so keep a look out for those as well.
