| Live stream of the landing from Nasa |
To celebrate the landing on mars of the latest Nasa rover Curiosity, Screens were place around various points of the GFC, being the sandbox, DS19 bar and onboard CWC wolverine which was parked 100 meters or so above DS19 station.
The
Wolverine had an RP to run up to the event with a live screen up there to follow the landing as it happened. Some chose to watch in the sandbox, while a crowd gathered in DS19 bar to view the landing together and loud cheers ran out the moment it was announced Curiosity had hit the Mars surface safely.
