G-Man here
Well as I sit here this evening, it is friday 12/23 at approximately 1800 hours. Most people I am sure, are home from work and getting ready to celebrate the holiday week-end with family and friends. I myself, work 12 hour shifts at one of our local hospitals, and I will be working this week-end.
So I just wanted to take a few moments to wish my GFC family a very Merry Christmas, and the hope that all of your wishes and dreams come true in 2012.
As I look back over my time here in GFC, it's so hard to believe that I am coming up on my 3 year anniversary here. I have met so many people here, and am honored to be able to call most of them friends. Thinking back over so many of the wonderful times i've had here, and even a few of the bad, brings a smile to my face.
If someone had told me 3 years ago, that a cartoon world would have such an effect on me, I would have laughed at them. But it's true. SL, and more importantly GFC, have become such a important part of my life. Meeting people from all over the world, interacting with them, learning about their cultures, and sharing in this wonderful phenomenon called Star Trek, has just been an awesome experience for me. I spent 11 years in the U.S. Navy in RL, but I have learned so much more in my time here in SL than I ever did in my navy travels.
Below are a few pics that I thought I would share with you all:

So once again, I want to thank all of you, my GFC family, for all the Joy and Fun you have brought into my life! It has been quite a ride so far, and I look forward to see what the future holds for all of us. As my favorite character from Star Trek said: "Live Long and Prosper."
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years
as always
G-Man
Ooh, there's a bunny in that picture with the campfire in the old sandbox.
