Celebrate the "Day of the Doctor" and the 50th anniversary of the longest running TV series in the world Dr Who, GalaxyFleetCommand will be joining in the party, come visit the GFC sims, pick up a fee remote control toy tardis to play with and fly your own around the 4 sims, expect to see daleks and other Dr Who paraphernalia over the weekend.

The BBC who create the series is having a special episode to be broadcast on 23rd November 2013 at 7:50pm GMT on their main station BBC 1 to celebrated the anniversary.
A mini prequel episode was also released during the last week or so as a teaser to the full episode called "The night of the Doctor".
Also for those who want to watch it on the big screen and in, a 3D theatrical release will be shown from 23rd of November 2013. Below are two trailers for that, one theatrical and the other for 3D.
Even google has got in on the act with their latest google doodle from their search homepage. They have cartoony 80's style computer animations with all the doctors represented, if you click on one of the characters you can play a cheesy web game with them in, all good fun.
