As we stated last month a company called Bright Canopy were offering accessing secondlife running through your web browser at full quality which could be used on lower spec machines. Access was close within days due to the realising their original model wasn't as sustainable as they thought.
Now they have reopen with a new pricing model of $17 a month for 20 hours with no contract or obligations. If you go over that time within the month extra charges are added, these are priced at for additional time of $0.02 a minute with each session charged at a minimum of 30 minutes.
